AJ Jones

AJ is a licensed cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience. AJ’s first love is braids and natural hair but as a creative soul she has prioritized learning to work with all kinds of hair to remove all boundaries to what she can accomplish.

AJ originally established and built her career in Chicago, IL where she had and still has the privilege to work alongside several producers and photographers throughout Chicago. Her eye for both fashion and artistry has caused her peers to coin her a true visionary. Her ability to look at a client or vision board and make sound decisions about the best style for someone; or ways to achieve a particular look or theme is truly impressive. Over the years she has accumulated several accomplishments to include over 20 fashions shows, over 300 photoshoots, 7 magazine covers, Walmart promo, Season 2 of Power Book IV: Force, actresses from shows such as “The Chi”, worked with Nobel Prize winning in Chemistry Founder of Noble Panacea, Sir Fraser Stoddart. AJ has also worked with brands such as Gucci, Telfar, Ivy Park, Savage X Fenty, Timberland, Supreme, The Crayon Case, Kaleidoscope Hair Products, etc.
