Danielle OGLESBY
Danielle “Dani” Oglesby is an innovative, multi-cultural hairstylist. She is an Indianapolis native who holds a cosmetology license in both Indiana and California.
She comes from a generation of hairstylists and launch her career by working as a stylist in her Mother’s salon.
With over 15 years of experience and intense focus on servicing all hair textures and lengths —Danielle is considered to be one of the brightest rising stars in the midwest and surrounding areas.
Dani has worked heavily in the commercial and print industry. She has a rare talent for creative hairstyles and braids along with her ability to style hair in fast-paced environments with accuracy and proficiency.
Her work can been seen in a number of magazines and has been featured in projects from Valley Eyewear, Finish line, Remington, JD SPORTS, and Jack Daniels to name a few.
Dani’s pop-up hair salon, The BAE Bar received the 2022 Weddingwire Couple’s Choice Award and she currently preparing to launch the BAE BAR Indy—Indianapolis’ first multicultural luxury blowout bar and silk press salon extending her influence and repertoire from the midwest to Hollywood and beyond.
Dani is very passionate about the under-representation and lack of knowledge in styling and caring for ethnic hair in the production/editorial industry and salon industry. She strives to highlight this issue and be apart of the change needed.
While Dani has yet to “break ground” on a permanent location for The Bae, she is certainly breaking the mold in the beauty industry.
